Cherry Blossom Tour + Art Galleries & Gardens

A fully escorted Springtime Japan Tour featuring traditional and contemporary landscape gardens & architecture. You will visit 4 different climatic zones on this tour so that you can see more cherry blossoms, at their peak, in bud and when the ground is covered with fallen petals.

Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Himeji Castle, Mikimoto Pearl Island, Kyoto and the Japan Inland Sea are all included in this tour. Four of Japan's greatest displays of art treasures will also be visited: MOA Art Museum, Hakone Open Air Museum, Adachi Museum and MIHO Art Museum.


Kyoto Autumn Gardens Tour + Rural Villages and National Parks

Kyoto, ancient capital of Japan, is our focus for this unusual 11 days of exploring gardens, parks, castles and rural countryside, seeking the wonderful colours of autumn leaves.

Guests on this tour will also enjoy a private charter coach tour, off the beaten track, to see the fall foliage around Mt Fuji, the Japan Alps, Kiso Valley, Tsumago Village, Lake Biwa and Matsumoto Castle. Mino pottery and paper making, Japanese lacquer ware and traditional crafts, as well as an opportunity for bird watching are all part of this tour.
