Crafts, pottery and autumn colours in Japan

Visit Japan when landscape gardens, national parks and forest clad mountains are ablaze with red, yellow and golden leaves.

October and November are the best months to see autumn foliage starting in the northern island of Hokkaido then slowly moving south as the days progress.

Kyoto`s gardens reach their peak of colour from mid November, as do the national parks of central Honshu island.

Visitors to Japan`s far north should be there by the end of October, before the leaves have all fallen.

Since 1983 Brisbane based Japan tour specialist Toursgallery has been creating and operating 7 small group tours every year.

Toursgallery offer 2 different fully escorted autumn tours to Japan priced from $7,998.

"To guarantee our guests will see the best autumn leaves, we visit 5 different climatic areas during each tour." said Ken Osetroff, director of Toursgallery
